DAVID TYSOWSKI is a University of Saskatchewan graduate who has worked in the music industry for over 19 years. David worked for Warner Music Canada for 11 years, based in Saskatoon, Vancouver and Toronto in Regional Marketing & Promotion and a National Marketing Manager. David left Warner in 2007 to be the Director of National Promotion for Arts & Crafts, a Toronto-based independent artist services company, offering expertise as an independent record label, management firm, merchandiser and music publisher both in Canada and USA. While at A&C, David worked on radio and promotional campaigns for Broken Social Scene, Feist, Stars, Dan Mangan and many more. David started his own PR company, Canvas Media, in January 2012 which allowed him to take on more independent projects that he believes in (such as City and Colour, Tokyo Police Club, Hollerado, Matt Mays, Japandroids, Jimmy Eat World, Rural Alberta Advantage, The Lumineers) while continuing to represent artists from the Arts & Crafts roster. Canvas Media provides a wide range of services including radio promotion, video promotion, online marketing and publicity.
